Meeting with team from Delhi who are assessing crop loss due to unseasonal rains.: Meeting with team from Delhi who are assessing crop loss due to unseasonal rains. The crop loss is around 711.32 Crore. We are requesting the center to sanction 151.28 Crore immediately.
The CM’s city visit was followed up with another inspection: The CM’s city visit was followed up with another inspection along with BBMP commissioner, JC Yelahanka and storm water chief engineer. The required desilting, strengthening of the storm water wall is underway at Kempapura, Tuba layout and Mariyanpalya.
Intensive pre monsoon cleaning drive: Intensive pre monsoon cleaning drive continues at Ward No.8 Tatanagar. Our office is working closely with the office of Joint Commissioner and local RWA’s.

Poly lined pond with harvested rain water from recent rains. Same water can be used to save crops during dry spells.
Meeting with Minor Irrigation Minister and senior officials:   Meeting with Minor Irrigation Minister and senior officials to finalise plans for utilising Bengaluru’s treated sewage water to fill dried up tanks in drought prone Kolar, Chikkaballapura and Bengaluru rural districts. Will help fill more than 200 dried tanks.
