Voter ID Registration Drive

Dear Residents,

Greetings from the Office of Krishna Byre Gowda, MLA, Byatarayanapura Constituency.

I am writing to you to bring to your notice the opportunity to include or make corrections to names in the Voters' List. We have very often seen that many names are not included in the List, or there are some errors that prevent you from voting. Some have been so unfortunate as to have their names deleted even though they are in possession of a valid Voters' ID Card (EPIC). Well, now is the chance for you to correct some of these anomalies. You can include names in the List (Form 6) or make corrections (Form 8). If you are not enrolled, then you need to fill out and submit Form 6.

I would like the members and residents of your association to proactively engage in this process. The RWA can play a very useful role here. The RWA can collect the individual Forms and submit them to BBMP office. My office can also facilitate the submission. After about 10 days the BBMP will then notify individual of the approval of their application. You will have to go to the BBMP office to get your photo captured for the ID Card, which will be issued then and there.

If you are currently enrolled as a Voter, and you do not have a valid Voter ID Card (EPIC), then you can get one now. I have attached the timetable for issuing of EPIC. Please consult the timetable to find out the date and the center concerning your area. If the date for your area has already passed, you can go to any other center where EPICs are being issued (within Byatarayanapura Assembly Constituency) and obtain your Card. Alternately, you can go to the BBMP Office, at the above listed address, and have your EPIC issued. Macroinfotech is the agency that is processing the voters' list and EPICs. Mr. Santosh (9611809225) is the supervisor for Byatarayanapura Assembly Constituency.

About 124319 registered voters are yet to get their EPICs in Byatarayanapura Assembly Constituency. Remember that EPIC is not only a very useful card to have, but that you will not be allowed to vote without the EPIC. Please do circulate this memo to all your residents and help us steer towards the right direction. This is an initiative from my end to build awareness and encourage citizen participation. Canara Bank layout park inspection

A recreational park is being built for the residents of Canara Bank layout. Residents have been requested to provide their inputs on what kinds of amenities they would like in the park.
